Data Use as a Teacher As a teacher, I see myself using data collection a lot. It would help me monitor my students' retention and improve my lesson plans for the future. As I'm going into elementary education, preferably as low as possible, it would help me see where the students are in comparison to the benchmarks/ standards they must meet. My data collection would also help me see what areas the parents would like to focus on and help them become involved in their child's education. (Links to an external site.)
